Mexico Open

This week I am in Leon, Mexico playing in the Mexico Open on the Nationwide Tour. It has been an exciting week so far as I got in the event on Monday around 1PM. I was in Charlotte, NC getting ready to play in the eGolf event that week but obviously plans changed when I got in this event. I bought a ticket to fly down to Mexico the next day and arrived in Leon late Tuesday night. Unfortunately there was a morning and afternoon pro-am so I was unable to get out and play a practice round. I was able to walk the front nine to get a little feel for the course. I was looking forward to getting the week started.
Yesterday was the first round. I shot an opening round 69, -3. It was a good start to the week and hoping to continue to play well the rest of the week. We have had some weather issues so far but maybe the weather will cooperate and we can get some more golf in. I am scheduled to start round 2 at 4:10 this afternoon.
