Getting there!

So finally I made a cut! We finished up this week in Blythewood, SC at the Golf in Morocco Classic. I finished the week at -13 for the tournament and took 2nd place cashing $18,109. It was a great week!
The week started off at Cobblestone Park where I shot -5, 66. Sad to say but it was my first round under par for the year but better late than never I guess. Hit it very well and also made some putts which has been my downfall early this year. The second round was at Columbia CC where I shot -4, again another solid day of ball striking and good putting! Third round was again at Columbia CC. Didn't capitalize on many opportunities in the third round but kept it respectable at -1 to sit 3 shots back of Tadd Fujikawa and one behind Frank Adams. I was looking forward to the final round and playing in the final group, it has been a while since I have been there!!
Well the night of the final round was a bit rough as I had a little case of food poisoning! Today was a rough day as I was pretty drained but was able to scrape it around and actually have a chance to get into a playoff but a late bogey on 17 and a par on 18 left me one shot out. It was a good week and hopefully be able to keep some momentum going on into the year.

Along with this event we were playing for 8 exemptions into a European Challenge tour event in Morocco! I am getting to go play in Morocco in a couple weeks! I am looking forward to this awesome opportunity! The prince of Morocco is picking up all costs for us to get there and even play in the event which is even better!

Also for the week I had a amazing putting lesson with Geoff Mangum. He completely changed my whole outlook on the putting greens and offered some very helpful tips! I can't say this putting lesson was the complete reason why I played well this week, but I assure you I wouldn't have played as well as I did without his help! Thanks Geoff!

Thank you all for your support and encouragement! I will keep updating as the weeks go on!

Cabarrus Classic

Getting ready to start this week in Charlotte, NC at River Run CC tomorrow morning. I have had the last two weeks off since the first events in Hilton Head and Savannah. It has been a good couple weeks for me and something that I definitely needed. I was struggling with my putting and I wasn't in a very good state of mind. I have been working hard and feeling much better about my game and am trying to be more positive with myself and game.
I am really looking forward to this week and whatever happens down the road. Check back to see how the week is going. Thanks for following and all your support!
