Final Stage Q School

Hello everyone, sorry I have been really slow posting about my last event of the year. Unfortunately it didn't go all that well but there were some positives that came from the week!
The week started out for me a few days before the first round. Final Stage of Q School is held on two courses due to the amount of players in the field. I played each of the courses a few time to get used to how they were playing and look at what the rest of the week was going to be like.
Round one was on Wed Dec 1st. I teed off early in the morning and started out pretty good! I was 1 under through 13 and feeling ok as it was a pretty windy day. Then, unfortunately I finished very poorly having some putting issues on the final 5 holes. I had a four putt and two three putts coming home to shoot +2 on the day. Wasn't a good finish as I felt as if I hit the ball really well and unfortunately had nothing to show for it. I really let this finish bother me for some reason day 1, and the rest of the week. Honestly it was a huge mistake to not put this behind me and go on since there were 5 days of competition left. I am going to try my best not let mental mistakes happen like this again.
The rest of the week went very similar to the first. I started out each round fairly well and had chances to shoot some good scores just struggle badly on the greens, didn't make any putts and continues to dig myself in a deeper hole with the putter. To make a long negative blog shorter I will just say that I finished at the back of the field for the week. A very disappointing finish but it WILL be better next time!
So onto something positive about the week. I am a member of the Nationwide Tour now! I'm more than likely not going to get too many starts early in the year unless I happen to get a sponsor exemptions or Monday Qualify into an event. Also, since I am a member of the tour all the money that I make will count on the money list for the tour and makes me eligible to get into the reshuffle early and possibly get better status so that I will get into events as the year goes on!
Next year for me is going to be very interesting as I have a lot of playing opportunities. I will again be a member of the eGolf Tour, Challenge Tour and now the Nationwide Tour. Early on it is looking as if I will start the early part of the eGolf Tour and even get into a European Tour event in Morocco in early April.
Time and some good golf will tell where I am come next year but definitely looking forward to it!
Thanks for following! Happy Holidays everyone!!
